Influenza Drops

Ingredients:
Aconitum D4, Bryonia D4, Camphora D3, Causticum Hahnemanni D6, Baptisia D4, Eupatorium perfoliatum D3, Ferrum phosphoricum D8, Gelsemium D6, Eucalyptus D3, Sabadilla D6

Indications:
Acute feverish inflammations of fibrous tissues and serous membranes
Gripfektan – specific serous remedy, especially for influenza
General infection with:
‚Ģ Pain in the limbs
‚Ģ Sensation of prostration
‚Ģ Dull headaches
‚Ģ Restlessness
‚Ģ Dry and burning skin
‚Ģ Acute pains
‚Ģ Feverish catarrh of the upper respiratory mucosa

Conditions:

‚Ģ Inflammation of serous membranes: pleurisy, pericarditis, peritonitis
‚Ģ Irritation of the peritoneum during abdominal inflammatory processes

Mode of Action:
‚Ģ Aconitum: Fever after chill; dry hyperemic skin; restlessness
‚Ģ Baptisia: Typhoid fever; stupor, lethargy, cold; irritated mucous membranes
‚Ģ Bryonia: Catarrhal fever; headaches; piercing pain; inflammation of serous tissues
‚Ģ Camphora: Calmative
‚Ģ Causticum: Raw sensation in mucosa; hollow cough; bladder weakness
‚Ģ Eucalyptus: General agitation; rapid breathing; weariness; limb rigidity; fever
‚Ģ Eupatorium perfoliatum: Fever with prostration; catarrhal inflammation of upper airways; raw mucosa
‚Ģ Ferrum phosphoricum: Fever, inflammation, low pulse, head congestion; effective in upper respiratory infections and bronchopneumonia
‚Ģ Gelsemium: Congestive headaches; sleepiness; shivering; prostration
‚Ģ Sabadilla: Sneezing and cough reflex stimulation; burning cold; chest stitching pain

Dosage:
‚Ģ Acute illness with fever: 10 drops in water every 15‚Äì30 minutes
‚Ģ When fever abates and perspiration begins (usually after 1‚Äì2 days): 10‚Äì15 drops every 1‚Äì2 hours
‚Ģ Once fever has gone: 10 drops every 2‚Äì3 hours for several days
‚Ģ Prevention in influenza epidemics: 10‚Äì15 drops, 3‚Äì4 times a day in water

Remarks:
‚Ģ For acute infections with high fever and mucosal head inflammation (redness, delirium, conjunctivitis): use R1
‚Ģ For bronchitis: see Jutussin drops R9 and syrup R8
‚Ģ For pleuritis: see R24
‚Ģ For sinus involvement: see R49
